Project365: Day 52 - Audubon Public Library

The town of Audubon, Iowa was named for James J. Audubon, the famous ornithologist and naturalist. A statue of James J. Audubon stands in the park adjacent to the public library.

The original library building in Audubon is another example of the early design work of Proudfoot, Bird, and Rawson Architects from 1916. The addition on the north side of the building (not shown) was completed by Brooks Borg Skiles Architecture and Engineering.
